My grade was reading a book called The Westing Game and there was one character who used the stock market. So we made a stock market sheet and had formulas to help us make it easier. I invested in Visa, Starbucks, Nike, Bank of America and ABC. My stocks did not do that well and I lost $790.38. It did not go well but at least Turtle did better than me. I learned how the stock market worked and how hard it is to find a good stock.
I thought The Last Cuentista was a really good book. It left you on cliff hangers and it was really good at showing that the ideas some one of the characters made were not that smart. I still thought it was really fun seeing the journey they went on and how they wanted to have cuentos on the new planet. It could have been a little more specific for what the new planet looked like and what was all around the world and if it was big. It could have been more specific for what they wanted to do because I knew they wanted to have cuentos but then they left and lived on the planet and it confused me.
The Ideal World was super fun because we got to choose what we wanted to have in our Ideal world, we were the owner of our world, and we controlled it. In my opinion, it was probably the best writing I have ever done in my life and I thought I could show my ideas and speak out and have fun.
The book making was fun with Peg Gignoux. I got to show my little creativity and my art skills, but it made me excited to go to Language Arts. I got to make a book with paper which was really fun to me at least and it was probably my best artwork.
This big long project ended really well and it was really fun.
The experience of watching Ted Talks and thinking of ideas for my own Ted like Talk was amazing. It gave me a lot of joy and it gave me a chance to show what I love and what I want to do when I get older.
It was pretty easy to choose what I wanted my Ted like Talk to be about because I love SportsCenter and I would watch it all the time. I also knew a lot about SportsCenter and I could tell you about SportsCenter with no script. I did still need to know some more things about SportsCenter so I looked up some facts and made a slide called Facts About SportsCenter.
But showing it to my friends was my favorite part because I got to show what I loved to my friends and they made me more comfortable. I would get one of my friends to time me and I would start going. I would go show them my slideshow and they would give me things to correct which helped me a lot. Also, I liked watching my friends Ted like Talks and seeing what they like and what they enjoy doing in their life.
So far I have seen some Ted Talks and it has been a lot of fun to see what they are passionate about and what they like. But it also is giving me ideas for what I have done better at in my Ted Talk and if I should have looked at the crowd more or speak louder.

En la Universidad de Duke tú puedes aprender en la escuela. Además, tú puedes jugar baloncesto. Asimismo, tú puedes caminar y puedes ver baloncesto. En mi opinión la Universidad de Duke es muy pequeña y colorida. ¿Te gusta la escuela? ¿Te gusta ver baloncesto?
En los Jardines de Sarah P. Duke puedes caminar. Tú puedes mirar las flores y las plantas. También, puedes correr con tus amigos y tu familia. Además, tú puedes correr. En mi opinión los Jardines de Sarah P. Duke son muy bonitos, coloridos y grandes. ¿Te gusta correr? ¿Te gusta mirar las flores?
En el parque estatal Eno River puedes caminar. Además, tú puedes hacer actividades en el río. Asimismo, puedes jugar con tu familia y tus amigos. También, tú puedes correr. En mi opinión el parque estatal Eno River es muy colorido, divertido y grande. ¿Te gusta hacer actividades en el río? ¿Te gusta caminar?
En Durham, hay muchos deportes, casas y teatros. Además, tiene estadios un poco antiguos y parques. Finalmente, Durham está lleno de edificios y actividades divertidas. En mi opinión, Durham es muy divertido, antiguo, grande y colorido.
In science, we had a project when we had to make a heat shield so an egg would not cook. We had a limited option of materials and had 100 credits to choose items. Some cost more than others depending on its value. It was a group project and I was paired up with Shaffer and Mosiah. We had one job. I was the team captain that kept my team on the project and kept everything in place. Shaffer was the material master
Who got all the materials for us and made sure we had all the materials we needed. Then Mosiah was the all star analyst who had to write things we learned from our experiments. We all did a great job working together and staying on topic and working hard and doing really important experiments so we could make our shield even better. When we did, our egg was raw and we were very proud of ourselves. We worked really well together and made our shield the best we could make it.
The actual project was really fun. We got to work with heat and fun materials. We got to use things that we have never used before but Mr Robbins helped us a lot. When we did our experiments we used a temperature gun to see the temperature of the material. Then I used a heat gun to make the material hot and heat it up. For the experiment every 15 seconds you would see what the temperature was and it went until 1 min. I would record the temperature and see if it was a material we should put in our heat shield.

Killing people and buying guns is not allowed. We will secretly put a tracker on everyone so if they try to kill someone or get a gun they will die immediately. So planet Gucci Gang will stay peaceful and safe.
Planet Gucci Gang has very nice houses with bowling alleys, a basketball court, a football field and anything you can ask for. People’s robots will play with you, get food at any time and anywhere, be a babysitter, drive you to places and anything you ask he or she will do. We have incredible technology and great computers and TVs. We have great colleges and schools for children. Wherever you go the robot will follow you if you want it to. There is every animal you can think of and they can’t hurt and will let you pet it.
The places in the Gucci Gang world are very fascinating like winter. There are mountains, there is a lot of snow and snowmobiles and anything you want to do up there you will get. To the right of the world There is summer with beaches and sand and very nice cottages and houses with incredible food. People will have a great experience in the summer. On the left it is spring with amazing weather and beautiful views with every sport in the spring. On the bottom it is fall, it is very fun with a lot of leaves that you can jump in and you can carve pumpkins and eat a lot of pumpkin foods like donuts, bread, and anything you can imagine they will have. All the seasons are on different moons near Gucci Gang planet.
There are teleporters that will take you from summer to fall and anywhere you want it to go. It can fit a lot of people and will take you to restaurants, mountains, your house and anywhere you want it to go. Just type it in and it will take you. It will take at least 15 min to 2 hours. It depends where you are going. When you wait you can get food, watch a movie, there is karaoke and you can play music and dance.
For sports the arenas are way bigger with a capacity of 100,000 seats a stadium. There are three teams for each sport in all four seasons. The arenas have 100 boxes with incredible food and a lot of TVs. You can make your chair back and forward you can have a massage on your chair. The chair has everything like asking for food, looking at states of the game. The arena has a lot of TVs and will get you food quick and easy and every seat is amazing with great views.
This is why living on planet Gucci Gang is the best place to live.

It was Friday February-27-2023 and we were going to the Museum of Natural Science. Before we got on a bus we had a talk about the expectations and behaviors at the museum. We also talked about what we would see and what we would do at the museum. The bus ride there was crazy, annoying and electric. The bus stopped and we were there. The teachers gave us a talk and stuff not to do and which floor we would start off on and the group we were in.
Inside was amazing. We started on the second floor and it had this 3d printer and they made things like a T. Rex and other things. Our group saw a lot of animals like fish, bugs, turtles and bones from animals and dinosaurs. There were iPads that you could play on and see a lot of interesting things like tornadoes and natural disasters. Then we had lunch with everyone in our grade. We talked about different floors we were on and it was fun. RACE exhibit and we had to write a paper about it and other people’s point of view and it was really cool.
Then we took the bus back and it was the same as the bus to the museum. We got back to school and we talked about the field trip and how it went then we played on the playground for a little bit and it was fun. Then we finally went home but it was still a very fun day.

The book I am reading is I Survived the Joplin Tornado, 2011 by Lauren Tarshis. The genre is historical fiction. I chose this book because I like learning about tornadoes and natural disasters. I also really like action and I survived books that are all about action and natural disasters .
There are books that are sometimes like you or nothing like you. Mirror is when a book or character is like you. Window is when a character is not like you. My book is a mirror and also a window. It is a window because I have never been in a tornado and never experienced a really dangerous tornado. I have also not been with a storm chaser, not gotten injured in a tornado and not gotten bullets of hail knock on my head. It is a mirror because I like learning about natural disasters and like seeing tornadoes happen on TV or see videos of it on my iPad. I also like seeing if a tornado will be bad or good and just seeing if any places will get destroyed by a tornado. Most I Survived books are windows.

I was at the UNC vs Duke game in the Final Four in New Orleans. It was electric and thrilling. I was very stressed out. It was very cool seeing all the famous people there like Charles Barkley, a basketball player in the hall of fame and others. It was also maybe coach k duke head coach’s last game if UNC beat them and they did. Only by 4 with a crazy three pointer my Caleb love a player from North Carolina. Duke head coach retired by losing to his rival in the Final Four which was awesome because I am a UNC fan.
